About The Position

Z FEDERAL is seeking a Test Engineer with knowledge and experience in supporting the agile testing process of various applications and systems for one of its Federal Government customers in Washington, DC. The role involves developing automated tests, supporting functional and regression testing, and collaborating with business analysts and engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5 + years of relevant experience.
• Experience building test automating suites using Cucumber specifications and Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience testing applications based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with manual testing and managing release verification in an agile environment.
• Candidates must have an active Government Agency Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated tests using Cucumber and Selenium, and/or begin migrating test suites to Playwright.
• Support functional testing for new features and bug fixes.
• Support regression testing and release validation for each sprint.
• Support business analysts and engineers developing and refining acceptance criteria.
