About The Position

The Test Engineer plans, develops, executes, and automates testing activities for software applications, middleware, and infrastructure deployed in High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments to validate system requirements. The role helps ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, security, and operational readiness of HPC systems. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Requirements

• Eight years of experience as a Test Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; four additional years of Test Engineer experience may substitute for the degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience using Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Proficiency with Bash or Python scripting for task automation.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration fundamentals.
• At least three years of software testing, quality assurance, or validation experience in Linux environments.
• Experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems.
• Experience integrating and testing REST APIs related to HPC systems.
• Demonstrated experience with defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Experience with software testing methodologies and test lifecycle management.
• Experience developing automated test solutions and validation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including GitLab CI.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• Experience with the Git source control system.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Splunk for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles and automation tools, including Ansible.
