Your customer will trust you to test, analyze, evaluate, verify, and validate the hardware, electronics, and integrated subsystems that make up these systems. You'll develop test fixtures and procedures, execute bench, environmental, and hardware-in-the-loop testing against established requirements, and identify areas requiring urgent mitigation early in the development cycle. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading test and evaluation, or system integration on DoD aerospace or ground systems, including integrating hardware, electronic circuits, and components into larger systems and verifying compatibility
  • 10+ years of experience working in a collaborative team environment developing test strategies, plans, reports, and briefings, and participating in hardware test execution, verification, or analysis
  • Experience developing and executing hardware test procedures using lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems
  • Experience with hardware bring-up, subsystem integration testing, and root cause analysis of hardware and software interface issues
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
  • Ability to define, develop, maintain, and execute large-scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents based on System and Subsystem Requirements, including Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), System Integration Test Plans (SITP), Enterprise Verification Plans (EVP), Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM), and Requirements Verification Files (RVFs)
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), developing contractors, and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on energetic systems
  • Experience with environmental, EMI, and EMC qualification testing, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or MIL-STD-464
  • Experience developing test fixtures and automated test equipment (ATE) for hardware verification
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test environments
  • Experience with portfolio and program verification, interoperability, validation, certification, and operational acceptance
  • Experience planning, executing, and reporting testing with the Lead Developmental Test Organization or the Operational Test Agency
  • Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools to manage system definitions, technical baselines, and requirements verification
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01, 5000.02, 5000.89, 5000.98, or 5000.100
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Technology
  • CTEP or INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
