About The Position

The Test Engineer III is a technical leader responsible for defining and executing comprehensive test strategies for complex RF systems and components in high-reliability applications. The role leads the development of advanced test solutions, including automated hardware and software systems, to validate product performance, quality, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. From early R&D through production launch, the Test Engineer III drives test engineering efforts across the full product lifecycle, partnering with design, manufacturing, and program leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field of study, or qualifying experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least five years of experience in a specialized functional discipline; nine years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree, or three years may be considered with a master's degree.
• Working knowledge of test automation software.
• Demonstrated experience with RF systems and signal chain design.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for RF systems and components.
• Perform RF testing using advanced test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
• Analyze test data and provide detailed reports on performance, quality, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug RF systems and components to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure products meet performance standards.
• Lead the test engineering function for new product and R&D projects from concept to launch.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Develop automated test scripts using LabVIEW and related software platforms to improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production counterparts on company-wide test automation initiatives to develop and implement test automation hardware and software solutions.
