Iridium is hiring a Test Engineer II to contribute to research, development, testing, and sustaining engineering activities for Iridium services. The role focuses on verifying the reliability and robustness of products and communication services and developing test automation. The Test Engineer II collaborates with software, hardware, and systems engineers and uses industry-standard tools and software, including Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana, Amazon Web Services, CI/CD DevOps pipelines, and containers. The position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary, with most work performed at a computer. Under Iridium’s Hybrid Work Policy, employees are expected to work at least four days per week (approximately 80%) in an Iridium office. The role requires U.S. citizenship because it directly performs under, supports, or is exposed to a U.S. government contract. The employee must be willing and able to travel up to 15 days annually and be on call to support operational issues.
