About The Position

Within our ENT business, we develop advanced technologies that empower clinicians to diagnose and treat complex ear, nose, and throat disorders with greater precision, confidence, and efficiency across both office and surgical settings. As a Test Engineer II, you will play a key role in the development, integration, verification, and validation of complex electromechanical medical device systems. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will partner with software, electrical, mechanical, quality, regulatory, operations, supply chain, and R&D teams to evaluate system performance, develop test methods and capabilities, and advance innovative products through the product development lifecycle. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, this onsite position provides hands-on access to laboratory environments, prototype systems, and cross-functional engineering teams. You will contribute to meaningful technologies that improve patient outcomes while gaining broad exposure across multiple engineering disciplines. Travel is minimal.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, or Advanced Degree with 0 years of experience.
Experience developing and executing test methods, verification activities, or validation activities for electromechanical, software-enabled, or regulated products.
Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation, product testing, data collection, and technical troubleshooting.
Experience creating technical documentation such as test protocols, reports, requirements traceability, design reviews, or validation records.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience within the medical device, aerospace, or other regulated product development environment.
Experience using LabVIEW or similar test automation tools to develop automated test solutions.
Experience designing or validating test fixtures, prototypes, emulators, or data acquisition systems.
Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design, PCB layout review, electronics bring-up, or calibration activities.
Experience using Agile development methodologies, Codebeamer, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), CAD/MCAD, or version control tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) test plans, protocols, analyses, and reports supporting system, subsystem, and component requirements.
Integrate software, electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical subsystems to perform verification testing across development and simulated-use environments.
Design, develop, validate, and maintain automated or semi-automated test fixtures, emulators, and non-product software used to support verification activities.
Evaluate design inputs and requirements to establish verification strategies, traceability documentation, and regulatory-compliant quality artifacts.
Identify, document, investigate, and track software and hardware defects discovered through automated and manual testing activities.
Support specification, integration, and bring-up of custom electronics and data acquisition systems used within test platforms.
Participate in code, design, and technical reviews to improve testability, requirements coverage, and product quality.
Collaborate closely with Quality, Regulatory, Program Management, Research & Development, Operations, and Engineering teams to support product development through multiple lifecycle phases.
