About The Position

HYVE Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer I to join their team. This role involves training production personnel on test processes and equipment, troubleshooting test, product, and system issues with root-cause analysis, and developing/maintaining test scripts, diagnostic programs, and automation tools using Python. The engineer will also configure, test, and troubleshoot complex server and system-level hardware, utilize Linux systems for software installation, test execution, log analysis, and system diagnostics, and assist in developing test plans, integration strategies, and validation procedures. Additionally, the role includes maintaining test fixtures, adapters, and related test equipment, supporting new product introductions (NPI) by developing and maintaining test procedures and specifications, installing hardware, performing rack integration, cable routing, and system configuration, and analyzing test data to improve yields and support continuous process improvements. Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues is also a key part of this position.

Requirements

  • Experience with manufacturing test systems, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and diagnostics.
  • Experience working in Linux environments, including command-line operations and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of server hardware, system integration, and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in PCBA high-volume manufacturing or production test environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, Git, and automated test equipment (ATE).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and server rack integration.
