About The Position

A Test Engineer I - Software develops test systems and software to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. They are a team-oriented individual who can also work independently, has a deep understanding of C#, C++, and C programming, and possesses extensive knowledge of various communication protocols and technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience preferred.
Proficiency in C#, C++, and C programming languages with experience in Visual Studio.
Strong knowledge of GPIB communications, Ethernet protocols, and standard technologies in Discrete, TTL, and serial communications (e.g., rs232, rs422, rs485).
Familiarity with mil-std communications, including 1553, ARINC 429, and synchro/resolver (experience is a plus).
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring the highest product quality.
Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test systems and test software to verify the functionality and performance of our products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective test plans and strategies.
Utilize C#, C++, and C programming languages to create efficient and reliable test software.
Employ GPIB communications, Ethernet protocols, and various standard technologies in Discrete, TTL, and serial communications (including rs232, rs422, rs485) for testing purposes.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging to identify and resolve any issues in the testing process.
Provide documentation and reports on test results, including recommendations for improvements.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the testing process.
