This role provides engineering support for development engine assembly and test across the P&W product lines (Commercial, Military, and Industrial), while focusing on engine systems functional understanding, learning and validation through both analytical tools and data acquisition from testing. The intern will support assembly plans and coordination, instrumentation requirements coordination, assembly procedure development & methods, on-site and test coverage, test data management and validation. Active participation in discipline improvement activities and knowledge management is expected. The intern will work with assembly support teams to support engine builds and tests. Off-shift and weekend work may occur to gain test coverage experience.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science & Technology and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
