Requirements

  • Requires active pursuit of a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Requires active U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with RTX systems, processes, and tools.
  • Experience in systems engineering to include capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, or deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements.
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools such as Magic Draw Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar resources using SysML.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and being part of highly integrated Agile teams working closely with multiple engineering development teams (SW, HW, Cyber, or Sys).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in a cross-functional agile team
  • Work in close coordination with a mentor using Collins Aerospace engineering processes
  • Creation, decomposition, and tracing requirements for communications systems on military platforms, both air and ground applications.
  • Work with a model-based systems engineering application to create logical and physical design diagrams.
  • Perform integration and testing for these communications solutions.
