About The Position

Maximum Technology Corporation is a small business in Huntsville, AL. MTC focuses on providing DoD customers with efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solutions in data management, software engineering, system engineering, test and evaluation support, information technology, and information system security. We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development, test, and fielding of a tactical missile defense system. The selected candidate will work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software & hardware, and digital representations of complex missile defense systems.

Requirements

US Citizenship.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant working experience.
Direct operational or test experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) is required.
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering using MATLAB or similar tools.
Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex system behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences.
Up to 10% travel may be required.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.
Active secret clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools using MATLAB.
Experience in real-time analysis using Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
Experience with Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD).
Experience in C, C++, Linux/Unix operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

Analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on missile defense system and/or algorithm performance.
Develop and maintain test cases to support software integration and system integration.
Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling & simulation (M&S), post-flight reconstruction, and integration and risk reduction efforts.
Apply practical engineering knowledge across a broad range of established system engineering principles, concepts, and methods
Analyze and document results of test cases in software and hardware test report documentation.
Develop system requirements to support system functionality
