About The Position

Kett Engineering is accepting applications and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers on both the 1st shift and 2nd shifts. The Ideal candidate will be up-to-date on the workings of the in-cab technology that comes in new vehicles. This program is working with our customer in an automotive testing / research and development program in Englewood, CO. This is a perfect position for college students and retirees!! We are seeking reliable, technically savvy people with a general knowledge of how automobiles work and who love to drive. Job Summary The Test Driver follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. and represents Kett in a professional manner. Pay is $15.00/hr. This job runs Monday through Sunday. The shift times are: 1st shift: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm 2nd shift: 4:00 pm to 12:30 am Saturday/Sunday (run 1st shift only- start times will vary)

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must have at 4 years of licensed driving experience and possess a current operators license.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no points, moving violations or at-fault accidents.
  • Must be able to drive in inclement weather.
  • Must be able to able to drive up to 3 hours between breaks.

Responsibilities

  • Follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications.
  • Represents Kett in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to drive all schedules certified on, with complete schedule integrity and does so on a consistent basis
  • Prepare accurate driver reports and other records on a daily basis, document observations in a clear and concise manner
  • Perform related driving/vehicle prep work as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promote overall team effort.
  • Focus on meeting and exceeding Kett and customer expectations.
  • Responsibilities involve a definite degree of skill, accuracy and cooperation.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of Kett and customer policies and procedures and Ketts Vision and Values.
  • Ability to complete concise and accurate documentation.
  • Promote safety awareness and assure compliance with all safety practices.
