About The Position

Astrion is hiring a Test Coordinator I to provide program management support at the Redstone Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, Alabama. The role supports aircraft survivability equipment test projects and uses ATEC and RTC Test Management tools to coordinate project documentation, finances, and schedules. The coordinator helps keep customers, account managers, test engineers, divisions, and management informed of project status. Ad-hoc support is also required. The position is full-time and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least 1 year of applicable experience developing plans, budgets, and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status on funding, schedules, and milestones; comparing budget and actual costs; validating costs; assessing performance against plans; and reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data from multiple sources.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Self-motivated and dependable, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, commitment to customer satisfaction, and support for process improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, OneNote, and PowerPoint, and with SharePoint.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or skills coordinating projects, reviewing technical documents, compiling project statistics and data, developing integrated schedules, and writing narratives.
• Professional use of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Experience with the U.S. Army and U.S. Army missiles and technologies, or knowledge of different types of government funding.
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support using ATEC and RTC Test Management tools, including ADSS-PMM, CET, VDLS, SharePoint, PRO3, and the Project Management Dashboard.
• Track and coordinate test project documentation, including proposals, test plans, and reports.
• Track and coordinate financial status and schedules.
• Ensure customers, account managers, test engineers, divisions, and management maintain situational awareness.
• Provide ad-hoc support as required.
