About The Position

PSI is a global provider of testing solutions, offering license and certification exams for state and federal agencies and assessments for public and private companies. Its mission is to create a positive testing experience that empowers candidates to succeed. The Test Center Administrator (Exam Proctor) helps maintain exam integrity and provide a smooth, professional experience for test takers. This entry-level position includes training and is suited to someone who values accuracy, customer service, and a calm testing environment. The position is located at 5701 Westpark Drive, Suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28217, and pays $15.25 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Thursday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Wednesday, 12 p.m.–6 p.m.; Friday and the second Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand or walk for up to 40% of the shift.
Commitment to exam security and compliance.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience; training is provided.
Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome test takers and clearly explain testing procedures.
Verify identification and maintain strict exam security protocols.
Set up workstations and troubleshoot technical issues with internal teams.
Supervise exams and ensure compliance with PSI policies.
Perform opening and closing procedures and light housekeeping, including sanitizing workstations.
Work with internal departments, such as IT, to resolve technical issues in the test center.
Support test takers with accessibility needs.
