About The Position

We are looking for talented individuals to join our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) software quality assurance team as Test Automation Engineer Interns. In this position, you will collaborate with Employee Life Cycle (ELC) test engineers on the STLC process to learn test methodologies, agile concepts, and the test automation tool TOSCA to build and maintain automation test scripts. This internship offers exposure to meaningful and challenging work, with a team of supporters and an assigned program mentor to guide you. You will gain real accountability to develop your professional skills, expand your network through exposure to senior leaders, and help build a bold future that is sustainable, accessible, and inclusive.

Requirements

• Graduate/Undergraduate junior or senior level student with Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related Engineering field
• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of basic SQL, any QA Test Management Tools/qTest, databases
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, SharePoint
• Manual Testing, API's, Data Validation, Test Automation tools
• Agile concepts

Responsibilities

• Understanding of Agile methodology
• Work with Lead Test Engineer to create, update, and manage test automation scripts.
• Responsible for planning, creating & executing manual test activities in an Agile environment.
• Use of defect tracking tools to log, manage, resolve, and report on bugs/defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, story writing, etc.)
• Collaborate with various teams across HCM space on test automation.
