About The Position

DISHER is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support a customer team in the medical device industry. The role focuses on converting manual tests into a modern Python-based automation framework and working with embedded hardware to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, improving the speed, reliability, and maintainability of the validation process. This is a three-month contract with potential for extension. The position is onsite in Portage, Michigan, four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day per week. The stated schedule is 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional work experience.
• Ability to code in Python.
• Experience with ReadyAPI.
• API testing experience.
• Experience with the CAN communication protocol.
• Experience working on edge devices.
• Understanding of the HTTP protocol.
• Experience with SOAP web services and API testing.
• Ability to integrate CI/CD test suites into pipelines using GitHub Runner.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Wi-Fi and RD (preferred; the posting does not expand on the meaning of RD).
