About The Position

DISHER is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support a customer team in the medical device industry. The role involves converting tests into a modern Python-based framework, working closely with embedded hardware, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to improve the speed, reliability, and maintainability of the validation process. This is a three-month contract with potential for extension. The position is onsite in Portage, Michigan, four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day per week. The work week is 40 hours.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional work experience.
• Ability to code in Python.
• Experience with ReadyAPI.
• API testing experience.
• Experience with the CAN communication protocol.
• Experience working on edge devices.
• Understanding of the HTTP protocol.
• API testing experience with SOAP web services.
• Ability to integrate CI/CD test suites into pipelines using GitHub runner.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Wi-Fi and RD.
