This is a hybrid position based out of one of our Iowa office locations. SHAZAM is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating functional, regression, and user acceptance test automation for the Company’s supported software applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, including the development and execution of automated test scripts
- Java development (preferably using Visual Studio Code)
- Database concepts
- Writing SQL queries to support testing efforts
- Experience using defect tracking and issue management tools is required.
- Proficiency in a programming language is required, with a preference for Java or a C-based language.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a test management tool is preferred.
- Exposure to mobile application testing and Sauce Labs is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test automation as part of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Document the success and failure of automated tests for metrics gathering and reporting independently.
- Schedule and execute automated test scripts on appropriate hardware resources during specified test periods.
