About The Position

Our client is a global contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical trial management and drug development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. They handle the full spectrum of clinical research, from study design and patient recruitment to data management and regulatory submissions, helping companies bring new therapies to market faster and more efficiently. We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright and .NET to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of the applications. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in test automation (3+ years with automated testing on .Net) with a strong focus on Playwright (1 year+ of experience)
  • Proficiency in .NET for test script development
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and integration testing
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Upper-intermediate English skills or above (English is the primary language of communication in the company)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in performance and load testing
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • ISTQB or relevant certification in test automation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and .NET
  • Design and implement robust test automation frameworks
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and suggest improvements
  • Ensure best practices in automation testing and maintain test documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
