About The Position

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below: The Test Automation Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of test automation solutions. This includes contributing to requirements elicitation, documenting business requirements, facilitating software application design discussions, and documenting design decisions. The consultant will also participate in coding, integrate new features or updates into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain code repositories. Additionally, they will implement test strategies, analyze results, coordinate bug fixes, develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks, and actively participate in resolving production issues and recommending preventive strategies. The role requires maintaining detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle end-to-end SDLC phases. A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks, a passion for design, and hands-on coding experience are essential. A proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining applications, along with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and perform software integration, are also key requirements. Requirements

Experience in Selenium JAVA automation testing.
Experience in TestNG Framework.
Experience in Java development and coding.
Experience in API testing and Rest Assured automation.
Experience in Kafka testing.
Experience in test data creation and management.
Experience in AI Agents adoption and usage in testing activities.
Experience in ALM, Jira, Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
Experience in STLC lifecycle and testing processes.
Experience in test automation framework development and maintenance.
Experience in functional and regression test automation.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects
