About The Position

Our client is seeking a Test Architect in our Dallas, TX Corporate Office. This role will work with members of the application development, product management, QA teams to ensure delivery of high-quality applications and reporting to Sr. Manager QA. The Test Architect is the think tank of QA Process and Technology. The Test Architect must have hands-on experience and be able to deliver solutions for QA Projects, Frameworks, Environment Scaling, Automation, Performance, Strategy, AI, and QA Roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Development, Test Automation, Performance Architecture.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Test Automation.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Test architect role.
  • Minimum 3 years of development experience.
  • Good experience in Designing Automation Frameworks for UI, Mobile, Performance.
  • Deep understanding of Data validation frameworks, Automation frameworks, Performance Frameworks.
  • Strong Understanding of REST and demonstrated automation experience with REST APIs testing.
  • Hands-on experience with languages: (Java, Java Script).
  • Should be knowledgeable on Selenium, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, K6, Grafana.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android platforms/mobile automation.
  • Strong knowledge on Performance engineering and Performance testing.
  • Experience in Implementing CI/CD practices with tools like Jenkins, Azure Dev ops.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: containers (e.g., Docker), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience in test systems design, architecture, and frameworks.
  • Experience in functional/business requirement decomposition to build test strategy and plan.
  • Suggest improvements in improving automation coverage and service improvements.
  • Worked in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
  • Perform test readiness and operational readiness review activities.
  • Strong problem-solving Skills, verbal communication skills, written skills, Strong analytical skills, QA bend of mind, capable of breaking robust software.
  • Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop automated testing processes, procedures, and scripts, support automated testing tools and governance.
  • Develop effective Web/Mobile Test Frameworks for UI, API, Data, Security and Performance testing.
  • Effectively convey the technical concepts and architectures to internal and customer teams.
  • Develop and implement Metrics and KPIs, reports and Dashboards.
  • Analyze and review automated test coverage implemented by the development team.
  • Define test strategy/test plan for specific application or test system architecture.
  • Able to create CI/CD pipelines for Automation and work with DevSecOps team.
  • Work closely with Release Engineering to ensure Test Environments are set up in the correct way for the right testing.
  • Identify non-functional validation needs, and define related test approaches.
  • Define the overall process and deliverables across SDLC for engineering quality like templates, checklists and tools (for test management / defect / reporting).
  • Document end-to-end business flows, if required, as references to create test models and evaluate test coverage.
  • Define test data requirements and interdependencies across applications.
  • Responsible for readiness of test environment and Test Data Management.
  • Identify test environment needs and define the pre-requisites and configuration needs for various phases of testing defined in the strategy/approach.
  • Strong version control experience in git.
  • Identify suitable areas for automation and support in defining automation plan.
  • Work with Operations to manage and address issues with the supported QA Environment.
  • Conduct or facilitate QA Training & Workshops for QA Engineers.
  • Provide regular status updates to QA Manager regarding progress.
  • Responsible for resolving technical issues and help QA team members to move past the bottlenecks.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining standard QA practice across board, which should help increase test automation and give visibility on QA efforts.
