About The Position

Engineered Air Balance (EAB) is seeking skilled, experienced, and motivated Technicians who are ready to expand their technical expertise while sharpening their leadership abilities. This role is designed for individuals who want more than a field position. High-performing Technicians can realistically advance to Project Supervisor within 12 to 16 months. Requirements

  • High school diploma or HSE required.
  • Experience performing TAB activities, HVAC diagnostics, controls verification, commissioning support, or related field services.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • AABC Test and Balance Certification preferred.
  • CERT Certification preferred.
  • Experience working on healthcare, higher education, industrial, laboratory, data center, or mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience coordinating field activities and project schedules.
  • Experience communicating with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Experience training, mentoring, and developing technical personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, adjusting, balancing, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and manufacturer submittals.
  • Verify BAS points and sensor calibration.
  • Conduct control sequence verification.
  • Maintain field documentation and reports.
  • Assist with Pre-TAB and Opposite Season observations.
  • Communicate with contractors, engineers, owners, and stakeholders.
  • Continue development through the EAB Training Program.
  • Assist with DRLs.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Develop leadership skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
