About The Position

As the Territory Senior Director of Distribution, you’ll lead a large, multi-site network by shaping a high-performing, inclusive culture while driving operational excellence across financials, productivity, safety and talent. You’ll conduct site visits to stay connected to day-to-day operations, engaging with teams at all levels, identifying opportunities early and leading initiatives that improve performance. A successful candidate brings strong leadership presence, cross-functional influence and the ability to balance accountability with coaching. You’ll have the chance to scale culture and impact, building empowered teams while driving meaningful outcomes in a complex, high-volume environment. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team, and the recruiter or hiring manager will provide additional details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience leading teams and managing supervisors in business, military or related fields.
  • 10 years of progressive logistics, operational, warehouse, inventory and customer service experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the year to conduct regular site visits across a multi-state territory

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of warehouse management systems experience
  • 5 years of distribution experience
  • 10 years of retail experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing, multi-site teams while building inclusive, engaging cultures and strong leadership pipelines
  • Drive end-to-end operational performance across financials, productivity, safety, quality, and staffing through data-driven decision making
  • Set and execute long-term strategy by aligning business priorities, translating plans into action, and supporting continuous improvement across the network
  • Stay closely connected to field operations through site visits and team engagement, proactively identifying risks and ensuring strong execution and accountability
  • Partner cross-functionally across enterprise teams to align strategy, remove barriers, optimize end-to-end operations, and deliver consistent business results
