About The Position

Betches Media is seeking a Director of Distribution to lead and scale our global content distribution strategy across all major platforms. This is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for turning distribution into a core growth and revenue-driving function. You will own platform strategy across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat, with a particular focus on building and scaling YouTube while optimizing performance and monetization across the broader ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of content, audience, and revenue—partnering closely with Content, Creative, and Commercial teams to ensure our IP and formats are built and distributed for maximum reach, engagement, and return. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and operator—someone who understands how to translate platform signals, audience behavior, and algorithmic trends into scalable growth and measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in digital media, content distribution, or platform strategy
  • Proven track record of scaling audience growth and monetization across social and digital platforms
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, audience behavior, and performance metrics
  • Experience leading teams and building scalable systems in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with experience driving measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across content, creative, and revenue teams
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach with the ability to move between strategy and execution

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Betches’ multi-platform distribution strategy, defining the role each platform plays in audience growth and revenue
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and retention across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat
  • Lead the build and scale of YouTube as a priority growth and monetization channel
  • Own platform-driven revenue performance, identifying opportunities to increase monetization efficiency
  • Develop scalable models that convert audience growth into predictable revenue
  • Evaluate platform performance and prioritize investment based on commercial impact
  • Establish testing and optimization frameworks (A/B testing, performance analysis, cohort insights)
  • Translate data and platform signals into actionable strategies and repeatable growth levers
  • Ensure content consistently meets or exceeds performance benchmarks
  • Partner closely with Content, Creative, and Brand teams to align distribution strategy with content development
  • Work with Commercial and Revenue teams to support monetization and partnership opportunities
  • Create strong feedback loops between performance data and creative decision-making
  • Lead and develop a high-performing distribution team focused on accountability, experimentation, and results
  • Build systems, processes, and workflows that enable teams to scale efficiently
  • Foster a culture of data fluency, speed, and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with platform partners (e.g., Meta, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Stay ahead of algorithm changes and emerging trends, adapting strategy accordingly
  • Implement clear KPIs, reporting, and forecasting to track performance and inform decision-making
