About The Position

Southeastern Traffic Supply (STS) is a traffic control company servicing Florida and Georgia, providing flagging, equipment rental, MOT plans, permitting, and road safety services. The company's mission is to save lives by improving roadway safety. The Territory Sales Specialist will focus on identifying business growth opportunities and optimizing marketing strategies within a regional territory in Florida, primarily through field travel. This role involves building client relationships, strengthening industry partnerships, and identifying new clients through networking and research.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and market trends to drive informed business decisions.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of MOT experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops client relationships and strengthens industry partnerships.
  • Identifies new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
  • Updates the customer contact list specific to each Branch.
  • Negotiates and closes business deals that promote sustained revenue.
  • Research and analyze existing client relationships; identify gaps or issues as needed.
  • Liaises with Operations to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
