About The Position

Malahat SkyWalk (MSW) is Vancouver Island's award-winning outdoor experience, featuring an iconic spiral tower, immersive forest walk, and breathtaking 360° views over the Saanich Inlet. Located just outside Victoria, MSW has quickly become one of the Island's most memorable visitor experiences. As we prepare for the upcoming tourism season, we are expanding our Elevate & Earn referral program and are seeking a highly motivated Seasonal Partnerships & Ambassador Lead to help grow and activate a network of partners who recommend Malahat SkyWalk to visitors. This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role focused on building partnerships that drive visitation and revenue during the peak tourism season. It requires regular in-person visits with partners across the region. Based on program growth and performance, there may be opportunities to extend the role or transition into a longer-term position supporting MSW's partnership and sales initiatives. The Elevate & Earn program rewards approved partners for recommending Malahat SkyWalk to their guests through a referral system. In this role, you will grow and manage a network of ambassadors across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, helping ensure that MSW becomes a top recommended experience for visitors exploring the Island. Partners may include: Hotels and concierge teams, Boutique properties and resorts, AirBnB and short-term rental hosts, Restaurants and spas, Visitor-serving businesses, Transportation providers.

Requirements

  • Background in hospitality, tourism, sales, or partnership development
  • A strong relationship builder who enjoys meeting people and growing networks
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Organized, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Familiar with the tourism and hospitality landscape across Vancouver Island or the Lower Mainland
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a friendly professional attitude
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the territory

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with hotels, tourism businesses, or visitor-serving organizations is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in a second language

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new partners into the Elevate & Earn program
  • Expand MSW's referral footprint across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland
  • Build strong relationships with businesses that interact with visitors daily
  • Onboard new partners and introduce them to the referral program
  • Train partners on how and when to recommend Malahat SkyWalk to guests
  • Position MSW as a must-do experience on Vancouver Island
  • Maintain regular in-person visits and communication with partners
  • Support seasonal partner incentives and recognition initiatives
  • Advocate for MSW's free shuttle service from downtown Victoria, positioning it as an easy and convenient option for visitors who may not have a vehicle.
  • Monitor partner participation and engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of partners and referral activity
  • Share insights and opportunities to help strengthen the program

Benefits

  • Monthly base compensation of $5,000 – $6,000
  • Performance-based commission) with earning potential of up to 5% based on ticket sales generated through partner referrals (tiered commission structure applies)
