About The Position

The Cary Company is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Territory Sales Representative to cover Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and portions of Ohio, promoting our container, packaging, and filtration product lines. This territory includes a mix of existing customers, warm inbound opportunities, and significant untapped growth potential. Success in this role requires balancing relationship management with proactive business development to drive long-term growth.

Requirements

A self-directed, detail-oriented mindset with a problem-solving attitude
Sales experience and a knack for networking and lead generation
A college degree—or equivalent experience from the “school of hard knocks.” We’re looking for the best fit, not just a diploma.

Responsibilities

Conducts weekly sales calls and consistently closes new business
Balances warm inbound leads with proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound business development
Enjoys uncovering new opportunities and opening doors with prospective customers
Ensures all accounts and prospects receive the attention and resources they need
Is curious and eager to learn our product lines and technologies
Excels in quoting, upselling, and building strong customer relationships
Maintains a positive attitude and manages multiple priorities with ease
Has a strong work ethic and confidence in negotiating
Is a proactive self-starter who seeks continuous improvement
Resides within Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or the greater Pittsburgh region
