About The Position

Join Life Fitness / Hammer Strength as a Territory Sales Representative to own and grow a Northern California territory. This remote, field-based role focuses on Health Clubs as the primary revenue driver, supported by YMCA and athletics-driven collegiate and campus recreation customers. You will lead consultative, relationship-driven sales, reengage underdeveloped accounts, and establish Life Fitness / Hammer Strength as the long-term partner of choice. Requirements

  • 3+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Proven consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing large, geographically dispersed territories
  • Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder, long sales cycles and capital equipment deals
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Northern California
  • Northern California residence strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a Northern California territory, driving the majority of revenue through Health Club accounts, with additional focus on YMCA and campus recreation environments.
  • Maintain a strong in-market presence, with an expectation of spending approximately three days per week in the field meeting customers, supporting projects, and advancing active opportunities across the territory.
  • Lead long-cycle, consultative sales processes with executives, facility leaders, athletic stakeholders, and multi-stakeholder buying groups.
  • Reengage dormant, underpenetrated, or competitive accounts and convert established relationships into active pipeline.
  • Balance repeat Health Club business with project-based campus and community opportunities, aligning equipment solutions to customer goals and facility needs.
  • Partner with designers, consultants, and customer stakeholders to support planning, layouts, and capital investment cycles.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and territory priorities with strong CRM discipline.
