About The Position

First Help Financial, voted and certified as a “Great Place to Work” for five consecutive years, is expanding its Outside Sales department due to remarkable growth. This is a field-based, relationship-driven role where you will own a market, acting as the face of First Help Financial to a portfolio of auto dealerships. You will help dealerships grow their business while advancing your own career with a strong bonus structure. This role is ideal for individuals who do not aspire to a typical 9-5 job and enjoy meeting and interacting with business clients extensively.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant sales or business development experience (auto financing, banking, or dealership experience is a plus).
  • Valid US Driver's License required.
  • Reliable Transportation required.
  • Demonstrates historical career stability.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce a plus).
  • Comfort with cold outreach and a consultative, relationship-first sales style.
  • High level of independence; detail-conscious and task-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent consultative selling skills.
  • Strong prospecting, presenting, and closing skills.
  • Initiative, sense of urgency and passion for winning.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships, including cold calling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to manage difficult relationship situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of auto dealerships in Tennessee, serving as their go-to partner for loan originations.
  • Grow the territory by prospecting and onboarding new dealership partners, including cold outreach, to expand the company's footprint.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for dealer accounts, available during their business hours via phone, text, and email.
  • Educate and consult dealership staff on financing programs to enable them to sell confidently to their customers.
  • Regularly travel to dealerships across the assigned territory to build in-person relationships.
  • Set your own schedule and travel plan within the territory, with provided training and support.
