About The Position

Trupanion is seeking a successor for its North Chicago Territory, offering an entrepreneurial opportunity within the growing pet medical insurance industry. The Territory Partner will act as an exclusive representative and consultant for Trupanion's pet health insurance product in the greater North Chicago market. This role involves building relationships with veterinary hospitals, educating staff about the benefits of Trupanion insurance for their practice, pets, and families, and expanding the company's reach through direct marketing to veterinarians. The position offers the potential for uncapped income through a commission-based model with monthly residuals on active policies.

Requirements

Reside in the territory you represent.
Be available to dedicate 40 hours a week to building your business.
Be or become Property & Casualty licensed in your state of residence.
Have a background in sales, business ownership, and/or the veterinary industry.
Possess drive and motivation.

Responsibilities

Serve as the exclusive representative for Trupanion's pet health insurance product within the greater North Chicago market.
Act as a consultant to Trupanion, expanding the Territory Partner network and increasing direct marketing to veterinarians.
Build relationships with veterinary hospitals, educating veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff about Trupanion insurance.
Educate veterinary staff on how Trupanion insurance benefits their practice, companion animals, and families.
Drive the growth of Trupanion by increasing the number of hospitals that actively introduce the product to their clients.
