About The Position

Our customer is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to help maintain and grow an existing territory. Candidate can reside in Ohio, PA, MI, WV from your home office. This position's primary responsibility is to travel to meet with clients at their place of business to grow new and existing business. This position supports a sales region or market by providing direct contact with customers and internal departments. This position is responsible for maintaining current customer relations and developing new customer accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of service in a sales-related position, showing a good track record.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time to industry events and Key Clients.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Display tact and courtesy when dealing with customers and others.
  • Ability to focus on details and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and possess the willingness and ability to learn.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other associates.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines while dealing with interruptions.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly in verbal and written communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Four years of college education related to business or sales and marketing preferred.
  • Experience with labels, print or packaging a plus.
  • Experience in using CRM systems to manage territory objectives and sell products preferred.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 products preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers while implementing strategic sales programs for targeted customers and prospects.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met through communication between customer and internal departments.
  • Traveling to meet with clients at their place of business to develop new business and secure and grow existing business.
  • Attending industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing and potential customers.
  • Communicating the company's Power Message to all customers.
  • Working and communicating often with current accounts to grow business to meet sales goals.
  • Calling and qualifying new leads from targeted campaigns, trade show lists, partners, and other sources within acceptable time frames.
  • Preparing customer proposals and quotes.
  • Working with the Sales Manager to create an annual budget for the territory and explaining variances in budgets monthly to the management team utilizing reports.
  • Communicating daily with customer service to assist in the management of accounts.
  • Maintaining CRM and other necessary sales databases with new and updated lead, account, contact, and opportunity information.
  • Entering notes in CRM system to track progression of lead sales cycle.
  • Creating monthly territory sales forecasts.
  • Identifying potential errors or problems and taking appropriate action to correct them.
  • Caring for company equipment and supplies to minimize cost and expense.
  • Completing tasks and projects as assigned.
