Territory Sales Manager
About The Position
Philip Morris International (PMI) is transforming its business and building a smoke-free future. This position is with its Swedish Match affiliate, which develops, manufactures, and sells leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. The company's vision is 'A world without cigarettes,' aiming to provide adult consumers with enjoyable alternatives that present a lower risk than smoking. As one of the fastest-growing consumer packaged goods companies, ZYN is the #1 selling nicotine pouch in the U.S. To support continued growth and innovation, a Territory Sales Manager is needed to oversee sales and operational activities within the assigned territory of Wilmington, DE, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience required
- Experience in non-durable consumer goods sales preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop sales plans
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business math
- Must reside within the assigned territory
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Selling and servicing Swedish Match products in assigned retail accounts
- Securing new item distribution
- Executing promotions and merchandising programs
- Maintaining product freshness and inventory standards
- Leveraging data to develop fact-based customer presentations
- Following established sales call processes
- Managing administrative responsibilities, including expense reporting and point-of-sale materials
