About The Position

IGS Energy is expanding its sales team and seeking a Territory Sales Consultant. This role involves providing potential customers with expertise and education on various energy products, helping homeowners become smart energy consumers. The company focuses on sustainable energy solutions, smart technology, carbon footprint management, and utility line protection.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • A good driving record.
  • A reliable personal vehicle.
  • Auto insurance coverage that satisfies the minimum requirement for the state.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to work outdoors daily with exposure to an outside environment, which includes inclement weather.
  • Regularly required to drive, sit, stand, and walk.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business by working an assigned territory selling natural gas, electricity, and utility line protection.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to increase customer awareness of energy choices and competitive advantages.
  • Provide potential customers with pricing information and effectively close sales.
  • Assure quality and accurate representation of products.
  • Represent the company professionally and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activity via CRM technology on an iPad.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with other sales representatives.
