The Territory Sales Representative will work closely with the region's territory sales manager, field sales representative, and sales specialists to learn and assist throughout the territory. Responsibilities include presenting our products and services to potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics, and recommending ways to promote and sell our products.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with clear driving record.
  • Ability to travel via car for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds of products regularly.
  • Willingness to travel three weeks out of the month with overnight stays a minimum of 3 times per week.
  • Confidence and high energy.
  • Ability to inspire customer confidence and provide support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 3 years of sales experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical/Industrial aptitude.
  • A self–starter who projects a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability for reaching specific product or account goals as determined along with the Territory Manager.
  • Learn through knowledge of our industrial product and be able to relay it to customers.
  • Responsible for assisting in developing strategic sales plans for assigned territories and making sure they align with the company's sales goals.
  • Develop and utilize sales presentation skills to sell company products in an assigned territory or product area via consultative selling.
  • Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of the company's products, competitive landscape, and market to meet the customer's needs.
  • Produces reports on time.
  • Handle customer inquiries with a sense of urgency.
  • Manages expenses and files expense reports.
