About The Position

American Tire Distributors (ATD) is seeking candidates to join their team as a Territory Manager. This role is responsible for managing accounts within an assigned geographic area, focusing on maximizing selling and growth opportunities. The Territory Manager will leverage internal and external partnerships, business intelligence, customer experience, and revenue analytics to drive unit and revenue growth. Candidates should reside in Luzerne, Monroe, Carbon, Lackawanna, or Columbia Counties. ATD is the nation's premier tire distributor with a coast-to-coast distribution network serving approximately 80,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and identifying dealer growth opportunities within an assigned geography, delivering growth through the activation of dormant and/or under penetrated accounts.
  • Identifying products or services that best meet customer needs, using business intelligence and market expertise to propose product screens and product segment recommendations.
  • Traveling throughout the geographic area of the assigned territory.
  • Traveling to the Solution Center or other Distribution Centers as determined by Management.
  • Growing program dealers in the assigned geography while improving total units through program as a % of total units sold.
  • Developing and growing opportunity accounts, graduating them to the Key Account Manager.
  • Ensuring quality CRM data to enable customer retention, business development, follow-up actions, and other sales activities.
  • Working collaboratively with all support roles to drive additional unit/revenue opportunities in assigned geography to build strong customer relationships that drive a positive customer experience.
  • Identifying upsell/cross opportunities based on understanding of customer needs based on relationship and predictive data models.
  • Utilizing data, analytics, and standardized reporting to improve time management and drive strategic activity.
  • Attending local or regional trade events to enhance market visibility.
