Every day, Nors strives to meet market needs with excellent solutions, equipment, and services. This role is for a Territory Manager to join the Sales team in Grande Prairie, AB. The Territory Manager position entails providing information about the products and services of the company to customers to increase sales and to develop or maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers across the Northern Alberta (Grande Prairie) Territory. This is a commission-based position. The Territory Manager will receive a base salary and earn a commission based on the agreed-upon schedule. The Territory Manager works closely with the Branch Manager to develop sales programs and strategies to attain annual budget targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of outside sales and/or equipment experience
  • Proven historical sales and revenue generating success
  • Ability to prepare and deliver efficient customized sales proposals and presentations to professionals at all levels
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills both in one-on-one and group settings
  • Proficient with computer technology
  • Post secondary education or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide information about the products and services of the company to customers to increase sales.
  • Develop or maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers across the Northern Alberta (Grande Prairie) Territory.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to develop sales programs and strategies to attain annual budget targets.
  • Support customers with exceptional solutions.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers, understand their equipment and business, and provide information and solutions to keep them operational.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the equipment lineup and become familiar with customer needs, managing expectations while upholding company values.
  • Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and strategies.
  • Prospect with cold calls for new accounts on a regular basis.
  • Represent the company, leading by example and personifying corporate values.
  • Report customer satisfaction, trends, and other useful information to parts and service supervisors.
  • Develop rapport with customers and act as the eyes and ears of the branch.
  • Learn new software and communicate with technicians and customers regarding equipment.
  • Champion best practices and consistently adhere to systems and procedures.
  • Organize work, ensure follow-up, and maintain accuracy.
