About The Position

Join BetterNight's growing sales team as a Territory Manager to improve the lives of patients suffering from sleep apnea. This role involves identifying providers who can benefit from simplified sleep testing and treatment referrals. BetterNight offers at-home Sleep Apnea testing, Tele Consults from Sleep Medicine providers, and treatment management including auto PAP therapy and Dental Devices. The Territory Manager will manage an established territory in Massachusetts (Worchester County and Boston Metro Area), focusing 50% on acquiring new accounts in PCP and specialist markets and maintaining existing provider relationships. BetterNight, headquartered in San Diego, has over 25 years of experience in home sleep testing and PAP therapy, and partners with Epoch Sleep Centers / Coastal Sleep diagnostics in New England.

Requirements

  • Strong face to face and written communication skills are a must
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to schedule field visits for the most efficient use of time
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs and CRM software
  • Ability to drive daily through the assigned territory
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Must be able to spend at least 90% of the time on the road visiting clients.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
  • Requires a general understanding of HIPAA requirements
  • Applicants’ home base will be within their respective area with required 90% travel in the field

Nice To Haves

  • Previous/current Diagnostic / Equipment sales to providers i.e. CPAP and/or Home Sleep Test sales highly desirable
  • A minimum of 1 year plus selling DME or healthcare service sales is preferred
  • Experienced CPAP or HST sales representatives are strongly desired, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, develop, and maintain new and existing physician accounts
  • Call on new and current accounts by making in person or virtual visits. (50%+ field work is required)
  • Serve as the liaison between our referral sources and members of both the Epoch Sleep Centers / Coastal Sleep diagnostics and the BetterNight team
  • Establish trusting relationships with referral partners and internal teams
  • Be responsible for the retention of key referral sources
  • Manage business objectives and meet revenue targets including new contracts plus growth and maintaining current contracts
  • Represent BetterNight at medical and industry conferences
  • Make presentations and demonstrate the use of medical devices and equipment

Benefits

  • Base Salary of $60-$70K depending on experience with an OTE of $96k and the opportunity to earn $200K or more based on a very aggressive compensation plan designed to reward over-achievement
