About The Position

Authentic Wine & Spirits Merchants (AWSM) is a national agency representing world-renowned brands including Masi, Champagne Louis Roederer, Cristal, and more. We work closely with the LCBO, grocery, and private retail partners to bring these brands to market across Canada. We’re looking for motivated students or recent graduates who are interested in starting a career in sales and the wine & spirits industry. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will: Build relationships with retail partners (LCBO, grocery, private stores) Support in-store execution and promotions Help grow sales and visibility of premium wine & spirits brands Gain real-world experience in territory sales and account management

Requirements

  • Student or recent graduate in business, marketing, sales, hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in wine, spirits, or the beverage industry
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is an asset

Nice To Haves

  • WSET Level 1 or interest in completing it

Responsibilities

  • Visit retail stores within your assigned territory
  • Support product placement, displays, and promotions
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales and distribution
  • Assist with events, tastings, and supplier visits
  • Track activity and accounts using CRM tools
