The Territory Manager will stay ahead of the competition by monitoring industry trends and participating in strategic planning to keep Aclara at the cutting edge. They will deliver compelling presentations that clearly communicate the value and uniqueness of our solutions and collaborate seamlessly with team members across departments to drive the success of sales programs. Navigating high-stakes negotiations and managing comprehensive proposals and RFP responses with finesse and strategic acumen are key. The role also requires maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce.com, ensuring all account information is up-to-date and activities are tracked efficiently. Representing Aclara at industry trade shows and conferences, enhancing our visibility and network, is also a responsibility. This position directly influences the growth and trajectory of Aclara in the water utility market, offering daily chances to meet with top executives and make impactful decisions that will shape the industry. Requirements

  • Must Reside in Texas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • At least five years of direct system-level selling experience within the utility market.
  • Adept at selling infrastructure systems and solutions to high-level utility executives.
  • Self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment, with a knack for identifying emerging market trends and seizing opportunities.
  • Values relationships and can build networks that lead to real business outcomes.
  • 50% Travel required
