About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager - Medical to join our team! Medical Territory Managers - Outside Sales Representatives are responsible for managing existing sales and gaining new business at acute care hospital accounts and related medical facilities. The Medical Territory Manager -Outside Sales Representative will be accountable for growing share within the territory by hunting new customers and growing existing relationships. Due to the nature of exempt roles, work hours may extend beyond the standard schedule when necessary to meet organizational demands, leadership responsibilities, and business objectives. This may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the role and the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Prefer 5-7 years Outside Sales experience in competitive B2B environments
  • Well-tested commercial negotiation skills in industrial and/or medical markets with personal accountability of growing top-line sales revenue
  • Ability to build a strong medical sales funnel and close new business with a long sales cycle of 6-18 months
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred in business or technical field

Responsibilities

  • Promotes sales of bulk and/or packaged medical gas and provide account service to assigned and potential medical customers
  • Strong emphasis on growing sales through new business development & maintaining customer relationship
  • Contacts existing accounts and cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets
  • Responsible for gross profit improvement and securing new business
  • Improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions
  • Secures long term relationship by negotiating product supply agreements
  • Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
  • Maintain list of target accounts by generates and qualifying new business leads
  • Conducts competitive intelligence
  • Other duties as assigned
