About The Position

The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing the business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics and institutions that specialize in the area of medical dermatology. The Territory Manager will be required to demonstrate excellence in developing and implementing territory business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities include coordination and integration with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) and field based employees (Field Reimbursement Managers, etc.) to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience
  • Strong communication skills and business acumen
  • Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver results
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Positive attitude and adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals.
  • Highly motivated and highly professional.
  • Capable of building trust with their matrix team and transparent, ethical and compliant in all their activities.
  • Proficient at selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience
  • 3+ years medical dermatology sales experience
  • Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment
  • Experience promoting high-science products
  • Product launch experience
  • Experience selling in a highly competitive environment

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing territory business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives.
  • Coordination and integration with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) and field based employees (Field Reimbursement Managers, etc.) to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.
  • Understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reports.
  • Timely call reporting and expense reporting.
  • Managing promotional budgets within their territory.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
