We are looking for a Territory Manager in our electrical division to call on a well-established book of accounts in the Peoria, IL; Cedar Rapids, IA; or Dubuque, IA areas. Our company offers its customers products and solutions to help build stronger businesses and communities. We are committed to helping our customers accomplish more.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in a sales role with demonstrated sales success
  • Experience using CRM software like salesforce, hubspot, etc
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability use Microsoft Suite of products; Word, Excel, Teams etc

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships in order to grow profitable business.
  • Implement the Sales Playbook process to support sales, margin, forecasting and 4 star customer goals.
  • Assists customers with problem solving, takeoffs, project layout/design and in quoting bills of material and project management as needed and with the assistance of our inside sales team.
  • Prepares, generates and follows up on quotations and communicate with Inside sales to turn quotes into orders upon request.
  • Cooperate with qualified suppliers to secure mutual business through joint calls.
  • Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner and maintain a professional image of self and work environment.
  • Stay current on existing and emerging product and technologies including attending product training classes, trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Introduce and demonstrate new products to assigned accounts.
  • Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.
  • Develop an effective and productive working relationship with Inside Sales, Counter Sales and support personnel.
  • Complete sales call and expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policy
  • Other duties as assigned
