About The Position

The Territory Account Manager is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for growing and strengthening Sealing Devices' market presence within an assigned territory. You'll own your territory end-to-end—developing strategic account plans, uncovering new business opportunities, and becoming a trusted partner to OEMs, engineers, buyers, and key decision-makers. This is an ideal role for a motivated sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, enjoys being in front of customers, and wants the autonomy to shape their territory while being supported by strong internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Technical Discipline, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within industrial, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or technical markets.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales and margin targets.
  • Experience developing new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent customer engagement and opportunity management.
  • Expand Sealing Devices' presence within existing accounts while developing new customer relationships.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customer decision-makers, engineers, buyers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending solutions that deliver value.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, presentations, and follow-up activities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Sealing Devices' products, fabrication capabilities, services, and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers and prospects.
  • Promote product specifications and engineered solutions at OEM end users and target accounts.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Applications Engineering, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver best-in-class customer solutions.
  • Communicate customer requirements clearly to support accurate quotations, estimates, and project execution.
  • Support company profit margin objectives while meeting customer expectations and sales goals.
  • Maintain customer activity, opportunities, forecasts, and account plans within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Utilize the Leads Pursuit Process and tracking systems to ensure visibility and accountability.
  • Provide timely call reports, sales forecasts, territory plans, and other business reports as required.
  • Meet regularly with Sales Leadership to review territory performance, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Sealing Devices at customer meetings, supplier visits, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Maintain professionalism and positively represent the company's brand, values, and capabilities.
  • Report quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Follow departmental procedures and work instructions while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment in accordance with company policies and the Sealing Devices Quality System.
  • Demonstrate and promote Sealing Devices' SCORE Values in all interactions and daily activities.
