About The Position

In this position, you will get to: Drive specifications of Chemelex products and services at owner accounts. Pursuing and securing projects that involve any combination of product supply, engineering, and construction services. Customers include, but are not limited to, end users, engineering firms, and OEMs. Track project opportunities and manage customers in CRM system and establish a winning strategy resulting in project awards. Coordination with proposal/estimating groups, engineering, project management, and construction teams. Vigorous self-initiated sales call activity required. Some regional travel required (primary sales activity in Southeast Texas region with periodic travel to Houston home office). Chemelex will provide training for all new hires which may include formal training modules and/or mentorship through on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ideally 10+ years of previous experience in or with Technical or Industrial sales.
  • Previous experience in or with SalesForce or comparable CRM tool.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Results-driven self-starter with a strong drive for success.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and solutions.
  • Consultative/solution-based selling approach with the ability to identify customer needs and provide value-based recommendations.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands associated with industrial facilities.
