About The Position

Drive the sales of service programs/products to meet/exceed customer needs as well as drive revenue. This role involves using an existing customer base and new lead information to develop and increase the sales of service offerings. The Territory Account Manager will work as an individual team member to meet/exceed individual and/or team service sales targets and goals. Responsibilities include tracking and managing sales opportunities from lead to finalization of service contracts, facilitating proper quoting, positioning, promoting and selling of services to ensure high close rates, and ensuring accurate forecasting, account planning, and reports are maintained and submitted on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Building and maintaining long-term customer retention and relationships by researching and developing existing customers, as well as new leads is crucial. The role is responsible for assigned accounts but may be required to transition accounts to other sales teams/business segments as determined. A strategic, “One Peak” mindset is expected, managing accounts and business priorities, and working closely with various Sales Leadership. Establishing and maintaining good business relations with customers and external contacts, including the partner community, is also key. Effective working relationships, communication, and coordination with all co-workers and leadership must be maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • Up to 5 years related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint presentation software
  • CRM skills required
  • Ability to take accountability and responsibility for business target delivery and decision making.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and utilize existing resources to solve problems.
  • Read and interpret documents, procedure manuals and various correspondence from both internal and external.
  • Speak effectively, both individually and before groups of both external customers and/or various levels of employees within the organization.
