About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Territory Account Manager (Pump, Power & HVAC) at their Advanced Solutions rental facility in San Diego, CA. This role is responsible for expanding the existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The Advanced Solutions branches offer equipment rentals within climate control, compressed air, fluid solutions, and power solutions. The ideal candidate will be tenacious, innovative, and possess superior outside sales experience with a proven track record. Industry knowledge in Pump, Power & HVAC (power generation, fluid solutions, heating & cooling solutions) equipment or rental/construction is preferred but not required. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and a competitive, self-motivated, results-driven attitude within a team-oriented environment. Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative with superior outside sales experience and a proven sales track record.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Some roles require passing a drug test, depending on the job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Pump, Power & HVAC (power generation, fluid solutions, heating & cooling solutions) Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Territory management of a geographical area, including market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests, utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • New business development and client acquisition/account development by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals to educate them on EquipmentShare's solutions.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction and inform them about new ways EquipmentShare can improve their business.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
  • Manage and support job site activities and projects with remote and on-site involvement.
  • Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
