About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Territory Account Manager at our rental facility in South Plainfield, NJ. This role is responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The Territory Account Manager will focus on educating customers on how EquipmentShare can help them save money, make more money, and operate more efficiently. The role involves managing a geographical territory, executing sales strategies, developing new business, and maintaining existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth. The company utilizes its proprietary T3 platform to support its employees and operations.

Requirements

  • Superior outside sales experience and skills with a proven sales track record.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated and results driven, but thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Territory management of a geographical area.
  • Responsible for the full sales strategy execution from market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management and revenue growth, through contract negotiation and customer retention.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.
  • New business development and Client acquisition/Account development.
  • Expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Educate customers on how EquipmentShare solves their problems by demonstrating how the company can help them save money, make more money and operate more efficiently.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure customers are 100 percent satisfied with the level of service and support.
  • Keep customers up-to-date about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can help improve their business with comprehensive jobsite solutions.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints or other communications.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
  • Manages and supports job site activities and projects with remote and on site involvement.
  • Assists with Equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
