About The Position

Woodward Tahoe (Boreal and Soda Springs) is seeking a Terrain Parks Hand Crew & Grooming Team Member to join their year-round world-class action sports facility. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining snow surfaces for skiers and riders, either by shaping terrain park features by hand or operating snowcats. Team members will be placed into either the Terrain Park Crew or Grooming Crew based on experience, skills, and operational needs. The position involves working closely with Park Leads, Grooming Operators, and Mountain Operations to ensure safe, fun, and well-maintained terrain parks, trails, and snow surfaces. This is a Full-Time or Part-Time Seasonal position.

Requirements

• Passion for skiing, snowboarding, and mountain operations
• Interest in terrain parks, snow grooming, or both
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in physical work
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings
• Comfortable performing manual labor and using hand tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and be placed in the role that best matches your skills and experience
• Able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Confident skier or snowboarder preferred for Terrain Park assignments
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or snowcats is a plus but not required—we're willing to train the right candidates

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve terrain park features and mountain snow surfaces
• Maintain terrain park features through raking, reshaping, repairing, and hand finishing
• Assist with snow grooming operations, including trail preparation, snow moving, and surface maintenance
• Operate snowmobiles and other equipment as assigned (training provided for qualified candidates)
• Monitor terrain parks and trails for safety and report maintenance needs
• Assist with park builds, feature installation, trail preparation, and event setups
• Shovel snow and perform physical snow maintenance as needed
• Work closely with Park Leads, Grooming Operators, Patrol, and Mountain Operations to provide the best possible guest experience
• Interact with guests in a friendly and informative manner
• Uphold a strong safety culture while representing Boreal and Woodward Tahoe with professionalism and enthusiasm
