About The Position

The Terrain Park Entry Attendant will work as an entry-level tester and park attendant to the Terrain Park leadership for all needs of the department. They will help contribute feedback on park design and layout, and assist with the supervision of daytime operations. This role ensures the daily procedures, maintenance, and safety of all terrain features, signs, and boundaries. The attendant will assist Ski Patrol and ensure compliance with all risk management, health and safety protocols. They will also help with the fabrication or repairs of terrain features when needed, assist with guest relations and education, and ensure inspection and testing of all terrain features and departmental documents/policies.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English.
  • Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.
  • At least 1 year prior experience working in a terrain park, similar facility or in outside Ski resort work environment required.
  • Must either snowboard or ski with advanced ability as determined by management.
  • Riding Requirements- able to ride 50% of features in the terrain parks.
  • Candidates 18 years or older are subject to a satisfactory background screening.
  • Must be a team player flexible with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
  • Strong communication and team work skills, Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form including communicating on the mountain radio.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Construction/Landscaping experience
  • CPR/first Aid trained

Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and barriers.
  • Monitoring terrain features according to company policy.
  • Maintaining of terrain features and equipment in the parks.
  • Assisting with special events & Marketing.
  • Participate in user education.
  • Keeping all facilities in clean, neat condition.
  • Adhere to all Company policies.
  • Assists with all departmental documentation.
  • Patrol Terrain Parks, assist Ski Patrol with any injuries and guest education.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the General Manager and other Director Team members.
