About The Position

This position functions under the direct supervision of the TERO Director. This position assists the TERO Department to plan, develop, implement, communicate, and administer various policies and procedures, and assist with training and department duties as needed to meet operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years clerical experience and computer experience required.
  • Must have Customer Service Experience.
  • WA state driver’s license and must be insurable under Tribal Plan;
  • Must have experience in report writing;
  • Ability to network with employing agencies, unions, etc;
  • Computer skills and experience with Word and Excel;
  • Good communication and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough, working knowledge of the TERO Ordinance, rules and- regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Provide and conduct training and support to TERO clients.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of Tribal. Personnel policies, procedures, organization, and administration.
  • Responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with various departmental employees, supervisors, managers, and customers.
  • Must be able to complete job assignments thoroughly, accurately, and on time. Must be able to prioritize work for maximum efficiency.
  • Will prepare notices, invoices, and letters to TERO clientele. Will maintain the job skills bank.
  • Ensure employees and customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service. Work closely with management to assess overall efficiency and effectiveness of TERO processes.
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with educational, training, or workforce development staff.
  • Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promotes internal service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  • Held accountable, to the highest degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of TERO departmental records and reports
  • Responsible for filing all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for organizing and archiving files.
  • Responsible for payment of TERO bills and invoices.
  • Responsible for answering telephones in a friendly, courteous manner and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Responsible for placing orders for supplies, etc.
  • Assist with all TERO functions such as attending meetings, interviews, scheduling appointments, setting up client functions, etc.
  • Will issue contractor, business and specialty licenses.
  • Maintain the "out of work" list.
  • Will assist the TERO Director in completing the quarterly EEOC Reports.
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality.
  • Attend various training sessions as required by supervisor
  • Perform other duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
